To create a Notion callout block, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Notion: Navigate to the page where you want to add the callout.
  2. Add a Callout Block: Type /callout and select “Callout” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Customize the Text: Enter the text you want to highlight.

Customizing Notion callout blocks are possible in three ways:

  1. Changing Icons:
    • Click on the Icon: Hover over the callout block and click the default icon.
    • Choose a New Icon: Select an icon from the options or add a custom emoji.
  2. Adjusting Font and Background Colors:
    • Select the Callout Block: Highlight the block.
    • Access Color Options: Click “Color” and choose text and background colors.
  3. Adding Hyperlinks, Mentions, and Reminders:
